The Southwest Ohio Council of Governments (COG) is a joint effort between county boards of developmental disabilities in Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren Counties.  It began in 2009.

These agencies share common concerns and the desire to provide the best possible services to persons with developmental disabilities in their respective counties.

By pooling resources and coordinating services regionally wherever possible, COG members increase efficiencies while maintaining focus on quality services targeted to each individual’s unique needs.

One function of the SWOCOG is to contract with private agencies to expand options for services and decrease administrative costs.
